We invite representatives of amalgamated communities of Vinnytsia region to participate in the project “The educational system management of local communities: V4 countries experience for Ukraine“.
The project is implemented by the NGO «Resource and information center «Communities of Vinnytsia region» with the support of the International Visegrad Fund.
The project’s main objective is to increase the effectiveness of the management of educational system in local communities of Ukraine by disseminating the experience and best practices of the Visegrad countries.
The project activities include series of trainings for representatives of 15 communities of Vinnytsia region and development of The Methodological guideline with the collection of best practices based on the experience of the Visegrad countries in the management and optimization of the education system of local communities. The final event of the project is the International Conference.
There are following activities under the project:
- 3-day training for the representatives of 15 amalgamated communities of Vinnytsia region, which will be held on December 4-6, in Vinnytsia.
Main training topics:
- Strategic planning of education development in amalgamated communities;
- The process of optimizing of the educational system in amalgamated communities;
- Experience and best practices of the Visegrad countries in the management and optimization of the educational system in the territorial communities.
The training will be conducted by leading Ukrainian and international experts from Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia.
Organizers provide accommodation, meals and handouts for participants.
To participate in trainings, the community delegates two representatives: one from the local government body (for example, a profile deputy or a representative of the department responsible for the administration of education) and a representative of the public (for example, a public organization, a parent committee or educational institution).
In total there will be selected 30 participants from 15 communities of Vinnytsia region. Priority will be given to amalgamated communities (including those in which elections are not yet scheduled, but there is a decision on amalgamation) or potential administrative centers of the amalgamated communities.

- International conference “The educational system management of local communities: V4 countries experience for Ukraine”, which will be held on December 7th, in Vinnytsia.
The international conference will become the final event of the project. It will present practical aspects of the management of educational system of the territorial communities, as well as the experience and best practices of the Visegrad countries. There will be about 100 participants, namely representatives of partners and project experts from Ukraine, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia, project participants, representatives of local self-government bodies, authorities, and representatives of educational institutions, public and other interested persons. The agenda provides individual communication, expert advice and exchange of experience as well.
Organizers provide meals for participants.
Date: December 07, 2018. Beginning at 11:00, registration starts at 10:00. The duration of the conference is up to 4 hours.
